I'm getting SO many faves on this piece that I can't keep up with the thanks and replies, Thank You in advance!!

Tree 7, "Pearls of Wisdom", also for my grandma :D

Tree: (2) 24Y spools of size 28G gold wire, 100-110 in 12 inch strands; size 11 pearl colored Chech glass seed beads.

Base: a pillar candle holder; size 8 black Chech glass seed beads; regular clear glass marbles with a pearl or rainbow swirl finish on them, found in the floral section.

Tools Used: Needle nose pliers, flush cutter, tape measure, Modge Podge, and a few Q-Tips.

I found a tutorial for the tree by searching online; the outcome varies based on the materials, and your imagination:)

All tools and materials were purchased at Hobby Lobby, but can also be found Micheal's; most but not all can be found at Wal-Mart.

"I am a sucker for wire work, but this piece is certainly one of the most stunning I've seen. This is an amazing concept that has been perfectly executed. The light helps to bring out its details and beauty." Pearls of Wisdom by ~Anya-Lyssa ( Suggested by `Emerald-Depths and Featured by `KubusRubus )

Nice! Very well done tree, but what really makes it for me is the "potting" media.

Wow!
This brings back old memories...
My grandma had a landscape made out of pearl-trees and stones.
Once, my aunt showed me how to make this, but I never made an entire tree...

You should try it! They're easy and once you've made one, it's like Lay's potato chips! lol They do take some time, a few hours at first, but after you get past that, they're so easy!! I have a tutorial up on how to make this style. I can make 3 different styles now :) My newer trees are all made made in the newest style I learned, since it's MUCH quicker and easier, but I recommend starting in this style, as it would give you a better understanding of how the wire behaves.
