Feeling a little glue...

Starting working on a stone inlay on a new box for the first time. The process calls for superglue. I have NEVER had a tube leak on me before! I quite literally have a few fingers encrusted in bits of amethyst, just at the very tips XD Sorry I can't get pics, I can't even make phone calls right now, and that's my only camera.
We had no acetone in the house, and I've tried other methods, nothing is working. So I haven't gotten much done tonight. I cannot feel my finger tips, and I'm now all out of super glue. I'm also broke.
Olive oil, vinegar, and salt were recommended, hot soapy water, and finally, time, waiting. Grr.

My parents finally gave me the tiny office room that's been piling up with storage for my sister's wedding at the end of January. Will be slowly converting it and setting up over the next few weeks. I can't do much until after my sister moves out in February, but hey, it's happening!!!
